Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all at Eurodragster....your coverage of drag racing has been excellent.

Thank you to Dave Branch for putting together a strong and reliable engine and for his patience, also to Paul Rose for his observations (!!?), to Steve French for pointing out the odd serious gaff, to my brother Robert and crew Denis and Chris for their hard work.

Christmas greetings to all fellow competitors in Comp Bike, and best wishes for a quicker 2003.

In closing, there could be no more worthy and honourable winner of this year's title than the quietly spoken Klaus Brinkmann....well done.

Now where did I put that packet of larger NOS and Fuel Jets.

Happy Xmas and New Year to all our friends, racers, crews, SPR/SCR staff etc. See you all next season, if we have sobered up by then!

-- Al and Linda Platt, 2002 UK National Sportsman ET Champion

I would like to thank all my customers this year and give them all a big pat on the back for going that extra mile and making the effort to put on a totally professional show. With more track officials and racers (even sportsman teams) wearing pro-uniforms it helped raise the profile of our sport as a whole and I feel privileged to have helped in some small way. When I stopped and took in the general scene at the European Finals at Santa Pod this year it was plain that our sport had moved up a notch. From the organisation of the race and the preparation of the facility to the appearance and performance of the race teams in both car and bike Championships you just could not have found a better weekend of world class sport anywhere. I look forward to even greater things for European drag racing next season. Merry Christmas everyone and roll on 2003!

And please, please get your uniform orders in early for next season!

-- Ian Turburville, photo-journalist, UK

I would very much like to wish everybody a happy Christmas. This includes all fellow racers in every class, the marshals, and the staff at both Santa Pod and Shakespeare County. Most of all to Paul Wright, Rich Gilbertson, Smax Smith and Wendy Talbot and family, who treated me like a second son and who held things together for me and Lin, my kids and my crew after our two "Lightning doesn't strike twice" crashes this year. I would of course like to give a massive thanks to Tog and Sharkman at Eurodragster for their continuing support to our Drag Racing, and not to forget Jeff Bull and Kenny Coleman for their everlasting support and advice as regards the top built motors in this country.

Well, as you might agree, after this year my budget for racing has had a good kicking! We will be back with another car and hope to see you all at the track in the New Year. All the best from "Team Rooga!".

-- Gary Malin, racer, UK

We want to wish all Drag Racing fans, drivers and team members and last but not least all those volunteers who always make an event look like an event a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us at Gardermoen Raceway and Norsk Dragracing Gardermoen. And remember to be kind!
